Ken Gaebler has done some simple quick analysis to determine which states are the most social network active. He admits that his way of making these determinations certainly don't come close to being scientific, but they may give you some insight anyway.
It's no surprise to me that Pennsylvania came in last among the continental states in the first analysis. People around me have only just started getting email addresses in the past two years.
You may be surprised at some of the other states that are on top or on the bottom of the list. Take a look and see where your state or city ranks.

As a fellow Pennsylvanian, I agree that PA's low rating is little surprise, something I hope to change with my own blogging network which I hope will have a social networking dimension eventually. Though I am a fellow CW blogger as well, it is with my blog network experiments that I hope to join a revolution to turn the state around.
