Would You Rather Use Social Networking Sites Or Dating Sites To Find Love??

What's the rejection factor of each. Dating sites are all about meeting people to date, that's a lot of pressure if you're looking for more than just a date or a fling. That's what they're supposed to be though. A place to meet people, get together and possibly even fall in love.

On the other hand though, you can meet people on social networking sites too. People have been known to meet someone on MySpace and fall in love. The thing about doing it this way is that you can become friends first, get to know each other a little, and then decide if you want to ask for a date, no pressure.

Facebook even has a Flirt feature to help you do a little flirting from their site. This makes it a little more fun and a little less stressful.

So what do you think? Dating site or social networking site?

Social networking is great to waste a lot time focused on nothing in particular. Many dating experts have called Facebook the next generation dating platform. I say good for them if that is what you want. Personally, I want something that leverages what social networking can offer in terms of expanding my reach to find the right person through my trusted friends and family (think six degrees.) At least with online dating sites there is a purpose. However, I do like combinations. If you combine some of the positive qualities of both and subtract the negatives you come up with something akin to social matchmaking, but I don’t have a trademark or anything.

Actually, I do have a domain called http://www.privateonlinedating which is an interesting concoction which brings out the best of both. Think LinkedIn for dating, but with significant privacy controls.

I don’t know about most people, but I just can’t bear posting personal information on dating sites. Conventional dating sites force everyone to be subjective and superficial. Whenever I search an online dating site I imagine that somebody could similarly search and find me, which does not sit well.

Another problem with both conventional online dating and most social networking sites is that people are so random. I ask for references for everything, including the woman I date. If you combine social networking and dating you can effectively enlist your trusted friends and family to introduce trustworthy people.

Sparkbliss actually does this. It is online dating for single adults that want to find the right person as opposed to getting as many dates as possible. Also, most conventional online dating sites require subscribers to surrender control of personal information, which is searchable by anybody and can exist for years.

Sparkbliss provides a private online dating experience that enables control and protection over personal information. Members develop their own private network of trusted friends and family who can view their profile and make romantic introductions on their behalf.

I rather use social networking sites than dating sites. There too many dating sites and they all seem kinda cookie cutter if you ask me.

    I like http://nudemyspace.com

Nude MySpace is a adult social network
for people that want to get there sex on and get naked online.

well on one hand, dating sites are a little cookie cutter, but adult social networks like http://www.xadultbook.com get it right with the perfect mix of adult dating and adult social themes.
