Write a Book, Write Online, Take the Chance

The sad part about her book coming out is that she was promptly fired from her offline job as a nurse. It could be because she talks about her job in the book. She described how doctors treat nurses and talks about some of the patients she's had. Patient advocacy is discussed and how she goes about it in her job.
She took a big step when she wrote and released this book, and a big chance. The chance that she would get fired is one of those chances, it may not have been something she expected to happen, but it happened none the less. It's a chance many of us take when we write about ourselves online or offline, on our blogs or on our social networking sites. Many people get fired from jobs or in trouble with the law because of things they write.
Read this review. I think you'll be inspired to read this book or find out more about Adrienne Zurub. If you read the book yourself you may be inspired to find out more about patient advocacy or to write a book of your own. Or, like me, you may be inspired to write more about yourself online.
