I was recently invited to join a social networking site for writers and journalists called Red Room. The very first thing I saw when I went to this website is Jon Stewart smiling back at me. I admit it, I'm one of those people who loves getting my news from The Daily Show. From Red Room I can connect with Jon Stewart. So I signed up right away and started building my Red Room profile.

On Red Room you can find out about your favorite authors by just looking them up and going to their profile page. There will be information on the books they've written and news about anything else they do too.

Post entries to your blog and have your blog entries featured on Red Room. Then other people can comment on your writing. You can comment on their blog posts too. If you are a writer, use Red Room to make connections with other writers and maybe even use Red Room to help advance your writing career.
