YouTube is going up against Facebook by launching Colleges on YouTube, offering students and staff closed networks through which they can contact each other and watch videos. The service launched yesterday serving over 30 US colleges. FULL ARTICLE @ NMA.CO.UK

Mark Brooks: The student market is the largest hyper-viral 'niche' market around. moms, is another great market. Minti, amongst others, serves that market well.

The college market is a super market to get involved in, as the recent announcement of the new sports channel, CSTV, a division of CBS Corp. said.

They are starting with 100 channels representing individual schools' various programs.

Hi Mark - thanks for adding a comment regarding Minti. As you say the student area is really hot at the moment and we believe their is room for many social networks for various niches, parenting is the one we have catered for initially with Minti.
